Dr. Sabbagh earned a Master's degree from the University of Michigan in 1984 and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in 1988. In 1989, together with Dr. Sharon Mitchell, he founded St. Clair Medical and spent more than three decades caring for Blue Water families. He is now enjoying a well-earned retirement while his sons, Dr. David Sabbagh and Dr. Michel Sabbagh, carry on the practice he built.
Dr. Mitchell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maine and her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, completing her internship at Oakland Saint John Hospital in 1989. Dual board certified in family practice and integrative medicine, she co-founded St. Clair Medical with Dr. Ira Sabbagh and helped grow it into the community anchor it is today. She is now happily retired, taking pride in watching the next generation of Sabbagh physicians carry the practice forward.
Dr. David Sabbagh earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and attended medical school at Virginia Tech, completing his Family Medicine residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing in 2019. Raised in St. Clair, he is a third-generation physician.
He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and takes a special interest in diabetes and autoimmune disorders. In addition to his clinic hours, Dr. Sabbagh rounds at both McLaren Port Huron and Lake Huron Medical Center. In his spare time, he enjoys trying new restaurants and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Michel Sabbagh earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University, and his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine residency at McLaren Macomb in 2026.
He enjoys seeing patients of all ages and takes a special interest in the prevention, evaluation and management of cardiac and vascular disease, migraines and mental-health conditions.
Jessica was born and raised in metro Detroit. She attended Saginaw Valley State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a chemistry minor, then continued at Marietta College in Ohio to obtain her PA-C. Her interests include preventative care and pediatrics. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, paddle boarding and spending time with her family.
Kate is a Detroit native who attended Grand Valley State University and stayed on to complete her PA-C. She takes special interest in women's health and dermatology. When she is not treating patients, she is home enjoying her two children and husband, who are active in sports.
Stephanie is a Michigan native who completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Detroit Mercy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and continued there to complete her PA-C. Her special interests include women's health and rheumatology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Allison graduated from the St. Clair County Community College nursing program and went on to earn her master's degree at Oakland University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. A native of St. Clair County, she enjoys hiking and biking as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Jacklyn is a Michigan native who completed her undergraduate degree at Oakland University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, and continued at Stony Brook University in New York for her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her special interests include preventative medicine and pediatrics. In her spare time, she enjoys her family and friends, reading and trying new restaurants.
