Policies & appointments.
A few guidelines that help us care for every patient well and keep your visits running smoothly.
New Patients
Please arrive 20–30 minutes before your scheduled appointment so our staff can assist you with registration, which is completed electronically on tablets. Bring a photo ID and your insurance card to your first visit.
Urgent & Sick Visits
Please call to schedule before coming to the office. Our Open Access scheduling means urgent and sick visits can usually be seen the same day. If same-day isn't available, we'll make every effort to see you as soon as possible.
Routine Appointments
Visits for non-urgent problems, chronic-condition management and medication refills can usually be scheduled within a week. If you prefer specific times, call several weeks ahead — and consider booking your next follow-up before you leave the office.
Cancellations
Please call at least 24 hours in advance if you must cancel, so we can offer your time to another patient. Appointments must be confirmed within 24 hours or may be cancelled. We reserve the right to charge a $25.00 fee for missed or “no-show” appointments.
Refill of Controlled Substances
All controlled substances require a scheduled, face-to-face visit with the original prescribing physician. No narcotics are authorized or filled over the telephone or on an emergency basis.
Our Care Team
Our care team includes both physicians and advanced-practice providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) who each care for patients of their own and work closely together. Because the team shares records and coordinates your care, there's always a provider who knows your history and can see you when you need to be seen.
