St. Clair Medical, PC was founded in 1989, when husband-and-wife team Dr. Ira Sabbagh and Dr. Sharon Mitchell joined Dr. Michel Sabbagh in his private OB/GYN practice. They energized the small clinic, and through patient word of mouth it grew into the community anchor that stands today. In 1990, St. Clair Medical expanded into Port Huron with Mitchell Medical Center and an on-site industrial medicine clinic.
In the decades since, the practice has continued to grow. Dr. Sabbagh and Dr. Mitchell are now retired, but their two sons — Dr. David Sabbagh, M.D. and Dr. Michel Sabbagh, D.O. — carry it forward, caring for families through three generations.
Through it all, St. Clair Medical and Mitchell Medical have been a steady presence in the Blue Water community, and a growing one. Today the practice brings together a full care team of physicians, experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and as it grows, that team grows with it.
We do more in our clinics than diagnostics and in-office testing. We also provide sports physicals, in-office minor surgeries, Department of Transportation examinations and hormone replacement services — comprehensive care that keeps you close to home.
Today we care for patients at one office in East China and two clinics in Port Huron's Medical Arts Building, so quality care stays close to home.
